Great case, low profile, nice feel

I'm kind of picky about my iPhone cases. I was searching for one that was a 2 piece slider type, and had a low, smooth profile that added minimal bulk. I had previously owned a glossy slider type case made by "InCase" for my original iPhone. I was happy with that one but wanted a little less bulk this time. I also was worried about scratching the plastic back of the 3G/GS iPhone. The Seidio Innocase II fit the bill - it has a very sleek profile, just enough to protect the phone in a fall. The felt inside the case was a big plus and will hopefully keep the back from getting scratched as it slides in, and the Apple logo cutout is a nice touch. This case also has a grippy, almost velvet-like feel to it but is not so rubbery that it sticks in your pocket or becomes a lint magnet. Actually like a matte finish plastic. Very happy with this case.

UPDATE: I've owned this case for a couple of weeks and already have had the matte finish chip off in 3 small spots, like someone else had mentioned. The chips reveal a glossy surface underneath I haven't dropped the phone or been rough with it at all, so I'm not sure what caused this. I'm a little disappointed now, but oh well.

This is a really good case. Fits Really well, the inner shell has felt lining so the back of the phone doesnt get scratched up, looks really sleek (as you can tell from the pics). No complaints. 100% recommend this for all iphone 3g/3gs owners.

Poor design & over-priced.

There's a major design problem with this case, in order to remove the case from your phone, you need to unlatch it from the back, I don't know it's just me or what, I always have to squeeze on the bottom piece in order to unlatch it, the result of that is the broken bottom piece. Plus there are two small pieces on the sides of the bottom piece, they are supposed to help secure the bottom piece on the phone, one of them broke too. Very disappointed.

I had bought this back in April, it only lasted a little over three months. I just bought another one from Amazon.com, it's one of those AmazonBasics items, AmazonBasics Shell-Case for iPhone 3G, 3GS (Red/Black). I just got it today, it's inexpensive, a little over $5, it's a solid case with decent quality, and I am so glad that I don't have to squeeze it every time I want to remove the case from the phone. Thank you Amazon for making this great case so affordable.

I will also post two pictures showing the broken bottom case, check them out.

The right case for me

Own 5 iPhone 3G cases prior to the Seidio - OtterBox Impact Case, Speck Products Pixel Skin, iLuv Silicone case, iSkin Solo, and Incipio Feather but none could satisfy my need for complete protection and a slim profile.
I bought the Seidio because saw a friend using it, it gave a strong impression how thin his iPhone looked with the case.
It gives my iPhone all the proper access to the ports and buttons, it's very durable, good protection (I have dropped my iPhone for at least 4 times on asphalt between 2-3 feet and it didn't even scratch the case)
One recommendation, Seidio case fits so tight that it will screw up a newly applied screen protector so let it sit for a night before putting your iPhone into the case.
